Lightbulb Allow American/Euro players to make guild with foreign characters in the name and tag

This solves the problem of having to have someone who has a Korean/Japanese/Chinese copy of GW(who are hard to come by) make a guild with foreign characters in it. Even if you find someone who can make one for you, you'll have a hard time communicating with them.

Edit:I don't mean symbols like !$#%^~@# or regular numbers.

Sort of unrelated, but I saw some Japanese guys with numbers (ie. 123) in their name.

WTF? Why are they allowed to have numbers and we're not?

I'm 100% sure they don't use Hindu-Arabic numerals in the Japanese language.

Is there any actual reason why the game doesnt accept these anyway.
I admit my total ignorance here but I was thinking, many countries are multi national.
So why not let everyone choose to use any.

Yes, because we need more crappy names. Are you running out of 'X Legolas X'-like names?

It's not as if the "Oo Ro X X X Or Oo"-like names weren't popular. And in most cases they are bad players so...
But the first thing we should be have access to is accents. They are part of Spanish and French (and probably other languages I don't know about), and lots of fantasy names use them. If they count in the characters allowed, then /signed

And I'm pretty sure Asians have more characters than us because they pay a monthly fee.

I'd /sign on accents only (and, you know... umlauts and stuff), but markings like # and @ and $ and such shouldn't be in names and neither should numbers. The only numbers people would use would be 69 and 420 anyway.

yes I ran out of all my X Legolas X names. And we both know that everyone uses X Legolas X-like names for guild names and tags.
